With the R7100 series, SHIMANO is also giving the 105 groupset its 12th gear and thus taking its best-selling road bike groupset to the next level.

The matching crankset is SHIMANO’s FC-R7100. The visually appealing 4-arm construction with hollow-forged crank arms and integrated Hollowtech II axle stands for an optimal ratio of weight and stiffness for maximum drive efficiency.
The cranks and chainrings themselves are made of anodised aluminium, while the fibreglass-reinforced plastic ribs on the back of the large chainring allow for significant weight savings with crisp shifting performance.

With a difference of 16 teeth, the chainrings in combination with the matching 12-speed cassettes from SHIMANO ensure a high bandwidth with fast and easy gears and fine gear jumps at the same time. This way you have enough reserves uphill and downhill and always stay close to your preferred cadence.
