Compared to butyl tubes, a weight saving of 100 grams and more can be achieved on your road, triathlon or time trial bike.

Combined with the right rims and weight-reduced competition tyres, the AEROTHAN tube is a welcome option for quick weight tuning. Make sure to observe the matching rim/tyre combination! For training and road racing, this high-end alternative to conventional bicycle tubes convinces with a stable riding behaviour and high dynamics. The amazingly low rolling resistance of the AEROTHAN Tubes is almost at tubeless level. The high heat resistance gives riders with rim brakes the confidence they need when riding downhill.

In addition to its dimensional stability when exposed to heat, Schwalbe’s TPU tube stands out for high puncture resistance. Minor leaks can be easily repaired with the matching optional self-adhesive repair patches. In addition, the AEROTHAN can be rolled up small and easily disappears in your saddle bag as a spare tube. After replacement, AEROTHAN tubes are fully recyclable, including the valve.
