Highlights & Technologies:

RECYCLED PES:
VAUDE uses recycled polyester, among other materials, to manufacture this highly functional product. These are surplus materials from polyester production that – instead of being disposed of as waste (as is often the case) – are collected and returned to production. In this way, VAUDE conserves resources and offers you full functionality.

RECYCLED PET:
The polyester yarn in this product comes (in part) from PET bottles that have been collected, cleaned and processed into granulate. This saves energy, emissions and resources in the manufacturing process of the functional material.

SYMPATEX:
The hydrophilic, non-porous membrane is environmentally friendly, waterproof (>35,000 mm waterproof rating), windproof and highly breathable at the same time. The SYMPATEX membrane is made of recyclable, harmless polyester.

ECO FINISH:
VAUDE products with ECO FINSIH are produced to be water-repellent, without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC is a group of chemicals used to make the outer fabric of a product waterproof. Regular re-treatment is necessary for permanent water and dirt repellence.

PRIMALOFT GOLD ECO:
This insulation offers high comfort, is durable and designed for long-lasting repetitive compressibility and longevity. With 90% recycled fibres from used plastic bottles, this low-volume material forms a dynamic structure that retains body heat even when compressed.
PRIMALOFT GOLD ECO is equipped with 3D stabilisation, which retains heat thanks to its unrivalled ability to retain its fill power. It’s all about staying dry, yet the insulation will even keep you warm when wet. Gold Insulation Eco combines a permanently water-repellent finish with a high-density structure. It also features excellent moisture management and dries fast.

CORDURA:
Polyamide fibres guarantee high robustness and abrasion resistance. A brushed surface gives the material a pleasant grip.  The fabric is fast-drying and extremely hard-wearing.

VAUDE AM FLAT:
The proven VAUDE AM FLAT sole takes your biking experience to a new level. The deeper tread in the toe and heel area offers ideal grip in sections where you have to carry or push your bike and, in combination with the soft SUPtraction Flat rubber compound, the sole ensures perfect grip on the pedals and lots of riding enjoyment. The hexagonal tread at the midfoot works like fish scales that wedge into the ground when walking for excellent traction even in challenging sections. The lightweight EVA midsole with a shock-absorbing heel element ensures good comfort, even on rough terrain.

FLOW INDEX 3:
Different activities and terrains place different requirement on the sole in terms of its strength. V-Flow combines the shoes’ cuff materials, fit and stability and provides an overview based on the V-Flow index to help you find out your personal preferences regarding intended use and comfort. The FLOW INDEX 3 offers comfort and flexibility, a protective cuff, good climbing qualities and perfect grip on flat pedals. Thus, it is perfect for demanding and technical singletracks in blocked terrain with roots, rocks and carrying sections.

SUPTRACTION:
High-grip rubber compound for a modern tread that offers high traction on dry and wet conditions.

BOA L6:
A closure system consisting of dials and stainless steel wires that allow for precise adjustments. This combination allows cyclists to even adjust the shoes while riding. As there are no Velcro straps, the front part of the shoe is well-ventilated. The shoes can be closed by pushing and turning the dials in the direction of travel. The laces loosen by pulling the dial.
