BAR-LOCK:
ORTLIEB’s own fastening system does not require any attachment elements to be left behind on the handlebar. The cable attachment is both robust and gentle on the handlebars. It is also compatible with many handlebar and stem sizes. The mount on the bag is simply attached to the handlebar, the cables are looped around the handlebar and stem, the quick-release fastener is clicked in and that’s it! The quick-release system is just as quick to attach as it is to detach once it has been adjusted to the handlebar.
The manufacturer recommends checking the cable tension after 5, 10, 50 and 100km and readjusting it if necessary.
