With its BORDO folding locks, ABUS has been setting the standard for years when it comes to combining security, portability and flexibility. For many, the 6000 series in particular embodies the perfect balancing act of lightweight and compact folding dimensions, as well as an adequate level of safety. With various adaptations, ABUS has nevertheless managed to constantly develop the BORDO 6000.

This is also the case with the ABUS BORDO 6000K, which received a fresh facelift – not just in terms of design. ABUS has also given it the higher-quality XPlus lock cylinder, which is usually fitted on heavyweight Granit models and makes life difficult for thieves. The disc tumbler has an even more complex locking mechanism than the Plus cylinder and thus offers even greater protection against manipulation attempts.

ABUS though continues to rely on the tried and tested 5 mm thick rods made of hardened steel, with connections secured against saw attacks by special rivets. The casing, which surrounds the lock body, is also made of this tough material. Even attacks with ice spray won’t impress the BORDO 6000K. The plastic coating of the links and housing also protects the paintwork of your bike when attaching the lock. And so that you never forget your lock, the matching frame holder is included.
