With the Cyclus Tools chain wear indicator, you can quickly and reliably determine the right time to change your chain. This way, you maintain the shifting performance of your drive and prevent excessive wear on the chainrings and cassette.
To do this, the wear indicator is inserted into the chain links at three points, allowing you to determine the wear independently of the roller size and roller play. The third indicator prong tensions the chain by means of a spring, which means that the test is not influenced by the individual force of the user when inserting the indicator prongs. The degree of wear is then indicated on the scale. The ”Stop” display signals that the chain elongation is one per cent.
