With a storage volume of around 13 litres and a shock-absorbing VPD AIR back protector, the COLUMN VPD BACKPACK 13L by POC is the ideal choice for your MTB day trips, for example. The lightweight and well-ventilated backpack is made from recycled materials and combines the integrated back protector with enough space for your riding gear and a hydration system with up to three litres. The protector is pleasantly soft while riding and creates a high freedom of movement. In case of an impact, it hardens and then returns to its original soft shape. Other features of the MTB backpack include a removable helmet net, pockets on the chest straps and tool sleeves that are integrated into the main compartment.

This protector system is anatomically designed and follows all your movements. The flexible material hardens on impact to effectively protect from injuries. Afterwards, it returns back to its original shape. As the foam converts from a soft pad into a hard protective shield with high shock absorbency on impact, there’s no need to compromise on flexibility or protection. VPD AIR uses a durable stretch fabric to be especially flexible, breathable and lightweight. The perfect combination of mobility and safety.
