The S 42 Disc front wheel gives you access to Mavic’s legendary Cosmic model range and thus to the world of high-performance carbon wheels from the traditional French manufacturer.

The combination of the 42 mm high yet lightweight aero carbon rim and the 24 flow-optimised spokes makes the wheel an outstanding all-rounder that masters the balancing act between speed sessions on flat terrain and steep climbs with ease. The Cosmic S 42 harmonises perfectly with 28 mm wide road tyres in terms of aerodynamics. Thanks to the 21 mm inner rim width, you can of course also fit wider tyres. In any case, you benefit from Mavic’s UST tubeless technology when riding tubeless. This gives you lower rolling resistance, increased puncture protection and more comfort.

No half measures were taken with the hub either: The self-adjusting industrial bearings enable easy maintenance and the CNC-machined hub body ensures optimised spoke angles, low asymmetry and therefore a stiff and stable wheel.
