Get the right tension – with the Eco Tension Tester by Gates!

A correct belt tension is crucial for the perfect functioning of the Gates carbon drive belt. A belt tension that is too low can cause the teeth of the belt to slip over the teeth of the rear sprocket. If the tension is too high, this can cause damage to the rear hub bearing, make the whole system sluggish or lead to increased wear.
