Besides the even sportier design, the saddle also comes with a significantly enlarged opening in the saddle centre, which provides even better relief for the sensitive perineal area. Yet, as it is often the case, the actual further development can be found in details. The Arteria models now have an improved gender-specific design. The women’s saddle comes with a slightly wider relief channel which tapers to the front. Suiting the male anatomy, the men’s saddle tapers to the back and relieves thus the urethra from unpleasant pressure. In this way, the Fly Arteria takes account of the findings made in the Terry ergonomics laboratory and offers even more progressive relief.
