Designed for the toughest loads: Ergotec gives the Safety Level 6+ classification to components that are designed to meet the extreme requirements of modern MTBs and E-MTBs – such as the ergotec HIGH BASS stem. Made from heavy-duty 6061 T6 aluminium and subjected to extensive testing procedures, the HIGH BASS can handle everything from epic descents in high alpine terrain to boundless bike park action. The robust, slightly angular look is also based on the frame design of many modern mountain bikes. In contrast to the flat BASS stem (prod. code 2293065), the HIGH BASS has a 45 degree angle, which puts you in a more upright and comfortable riding position. With its matt black, sandblasted finish, it is a real eye-catcher on any bike.

The ergotec Safety Level is always valid for the entire steering system. If stem and bars have a different safety level, the lower value will apply to the entire system.
ATTENTION:
Due to safety concerns, the manufacturer does NOT approve the use of the stem with carbon handlebars and/or carbon steerer tubes.
