A small part with big effect: The LoneWolf Aero Chainguide from Wolf Tooth weighs just 30 grams, but can make all the difference in a race. Because chain drops are not uncommon in gravel races – a pothole in the turmoil at the start can quickly cost you a place on the pedestal. This is exactly what the chainguide prevents by reliably keeping the chain in check – no matter how hard the impacts are. So the 30 grams are well spent.
The LoneWolf Chainguide was specially designed for the BACKROAD FF in cooperation with the US manufacturer Wolf Tooth and is available in two sizes. This allows different chainring sizes without compromising on weight, appearance or aerodynamics. This means you can change your chainring as required and still have the security of a chain guide.
The chain guide can be adjusted in a few simple steps and only requires a hex wrench. While the horizontal alignment depends on the chainring size, the vertical alignment can be adapted to the chain line. This works so quickly, easily and precisely that you can also remove the chain guide to clean or change the chain without hesitation.
