Schwalbe has developed the Marathon E-Plus Performance specially for the requirements of pedelecs. It comes with two additional layers of RaceGuard fabric that reinforce the SmartGuard insert already known from the Marathon Plus. This offers improved protection against punctures. The ADDIX-E Compound ensures increased durability of the tyre and the Anti-Aging sidewall keeps off stress caused by low air pressures clearly longer than standard sidewalls.
The improved casing construction reinforces the sidewall by another fabric layer and thus stabilises the tyre for even more load capacity.
Of course, the Marathon E-Plus is certified in accordance with ECE-R75 and also suitable for S-pedelecs and e-bikes with pedal assist up to 50 km/h.
