The main material of these winter trousers is the thermo-regulating and breathable RX EXTREME insulation. This is loosely covered by weatherproof SPHERE ULTRA softshell at the critical points in the front area. This loose TWIN DECK two-layer construction not only impresses with its thermal properties, but above all with its high elasticity, which provides comfort and freedom of movement. Highlights & Technologies:

TWIN DECK:
Instead of simply sticking the membrane components together, ASSOS has loosely connected an outer layer, in this case SPHERE ULTRA, with a warm liner, in this case RX EXTREME. This ”floating” membrane allows for an additional cushion of air between the layers, providing additional insulation.

RX EXTREME:
This insulating material is a thermal material in jersey layering. It is the warmest material in the RX family and, in addition to its water-repellent properties, offers a brushed four-way stretch for full freedom of movement on the saddle.

SPHERE ULTRA:
The two-layer windproof, waterproof and highly breathable softshell material with a sealed PU membrane is characterised by a high level of weather protection. Breathability: MVTR 40 000 g/m2/24 h; waterproof rating: > 10 000 mm; elasticity: 2-way stretch.

WINTERFOAM:
This is a softshell material that is storm-proof and has insulating properties. The material is also water-repellent and protects against road splash.

MILLE GT S11:

Shock-Absorb Damping Mono12: The thickness of the compressible foam layers has been increased to 12 mm, ensuring a more upright riding position on gravel tracks and trails. A thermo-moulded design reduces disturbing transitions and friction.
3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer perforated foam which increases breathability, eliminates excess weight and has a shock-absorbing effect.
goldenGate 2.0: The pad is attached to the front and back, with movable pads on the sides and centre. Cut-outs on the sides reduce volume and friction with every pedal stroke.
Sundeck Technology: An ultra-soft panel at the front of the insert minimises space requirements and avoids pressure, resulting in a gentle fit.

LOUVRE TEC:
Each leg panel is made in the louvreTec design, i.e. the panels become narrower towards the bottom on the outside of both thighs. This ensures individual, compressive support.

ROLLBAR:
A clever design inspired by a stabilizer of a race car, with the straps acting as a stabiliser for the padding and compensating for the weight shifting when cornering and pedalling. This is because the straps are attached to the trousers on the lower torso close to the seat pad and again on the lower back – thus, the straps allow for high flexibility in the area in-between during weight shifting and keep the pad firmly in place.
