Vittoria’s Competition Latex is a premium latex tube for cyclists who want to get the best out of their material. Latex tubes are more lightweight and supple than inner tubes made from butyl and therefore create less friction inside the tyre casing. These characteristic properties result in optimised rolling resistance and improved riding behaviour when cornering. What’s more, the elasticity of the latex material leads to a higher puncture protection than butyl tubes have.

Latex tubes are sensitive to lubricants and therefore shouldn’t get in touch with oil or grease. Latex tubes lose air more easily than butyl tubes, therefore you should check the air pressure regularly before riding.
