The hardback panel consists of 64% recycled material from household waste. The robust, 100% recycled bag material with a textile look is completely PVC-free and welded waterproof. Highlights & Technologies:

QMR 2.0:
The second generation of the QUICK MOUNT RELEASE (QMR) hook: even easier to use and can be directly locked onto the hook (with ABZS 145/20 padlock, product code: 2269016). Thanks to included adapters, the QMR hooks fit a wide range of different tube diameters (8-16 mm). Simply choose the appropriate adapter for your rack, fit it into the QRM hook of the bag, adjust the hook’s position with the horizontal dial if need be and hook the bag on the rear rack with just one click. An additional hook with on an elliptical ring allows for individual adjustments to the vertical line of the luggage rack.

PVC FREE:
This VAUDE seal means that this product is made entirely without PVC (polyvinylchloride). Looks like tarpaulin and is just as durable and waterproof, yet consists of polyurethane coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticizers (phthalates) that are suspected of having negative health impacts.

GREEN SHAPE:
Products with VAUDE’s own label fulfil various manufacturer-specific requirements with regard to environmental and social factors, including, for example, material-efficient design, durability, recyclability and reparability. VAUDE checks the entire product life cycle when awarding this label. According to the manufacturer, all VAUDE articles with this label are PFC-free, are largely made from recycled or bio-based materials and also bear the GREEN BUTTON seal.

GRÜNER KNOPF (“GREEN BUTTON”):
The German textile seal GRÜNER KNOPF (“Green Button”) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. This seal also verifies corporate due diligence with regard to defined human rights and ecological criteria. The basis of the verification of theses standards is partly carried out via third-party, independent meta-labels. The publisher of the GREEN BUTTON seal is the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
