Completely wireless, easily to install, handle and use as well as fully interactive with all SRAM AXS™ components. With the introduction of the electrified Reverb AXS™ dropper post in 2019, Rock Shox hit the bull’s eye and opened up completely new possibilities for system integration. And the RockShox engineers have not rested on their laurels, but have continued to develop their premium dropper post.
For the 2025 model year, the US-Americans have therefore stuck with the tried-and-tested technology, but have given their top seller a few new features to ensure that it remains a market leader. The community’s calls for more adjustment range have been heard and the long end of the model range now has a stroke of up to 250 mm instead of 170 mm. RockShox is thus making a big statement and should now have a suitable option for all frame geometries and rider sizes.
Another point addressed by the developers concerns the positioning of the battery: This has been moved forward from the saddle clamp head to the chassis, which provides more tyre clearance and prevents unwanted collisions in the event of strong chassis compressions. With ActiveRide™, RockShox also introduces a technology that gives the seat post additional damping comfort when not extended. This ensures basic compliance even on fast, technical uphills with the E-MTB.
As usual, the SRAM AXS™ app can be used to personalise the button assignment of the separately available wireless buttons and integrate the seat post into the entire AXS™ system. All in all, it can therefore be said that Rock Shox has reached the next evolutionary stage with the Reverb AXS™ and made its top model fit for the future. One may well ask what is to come after that.
