Simply remove the adjusting nut of the rear quick release skewer and replace it with the protector by Xtreme. In case of a fall, the derailleur hanger is effectively protected against bending, as the pressure is transferred to the quick release axle.

Suitable for 5 mm quick release skewers
Only suitable for Shimano Shadow rear derailleurs and rear derailleurs with a B-Axle because of the slimmer design (classic rear derailleurs will not work because of their wider construction)
