The Trailsaddle II bike bag allows you to carry additional gear on your MTB, hybrid or gravel bike. The double saddle bag by VAUDE attaches to the seatpost and saddle rail with straps. The dry bag can be removed whereas the bag’s base remains mounted on the frame.

The robust and slim mount gives the welded and thus waterproof dry bag reliable stability using compression straps. You can remove the dry bag at the carrying handle to also access your gear when you’re not on the bike. What’s more, the saddle bag does not only keep your gear dry, but it also serves as a splashguard to protect you from wheel spray.

Both the waterproof dry bag and the bag’s base are made from 100% recycled materials. GREEN SHAPE:
Products with VAUDE’s own label fulfil various manufacturer-specific requirements with regard to environmental and social factors, including, for example, material-efficient design, durability, recyclability and reparability. VAUDE checks the entire product life cycle when awarding this label. According to the manufacturer, all VAUDE articles with this label are PFC-free, are largely made from recycled or bio-based materials and also bear the GREEN BUTTON seal.

GRÜNER KNOPF (“GREEN BUTTON”):
The German textile seal GRÜNER KNOPF (“Green Button”) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. This seal also verifies corporate due diligence with regard to defined human rights and ecological criteria. The basis of the verification of theses standards is partly carried out via third-party, independent meta-labels. The publisher of the GREEN BUTTON seal is the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

RECYCLED PA:
For this product, VAUDE uses some robust, lightweight and fast-drying polyamide yarn. These are surplus materials and leftovers from textile production, which are collected, cleaned, processed and turned into yarn.

PVC FREE:
This VAUDE seal means that this product is made entirely without PVC (polyvinylchloride). Looks like tarpaulin and is just as durable and waterproof, yet consists of polyurethane coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticizers (phthalates) that are suspected of having negative health impacts.

Note:
The reflective design elements attached as decorative elements do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
