S.CAFÉ:
Coffee grounds are a waste product that is produced from coffee beans during conventional coffee brewing and find a new use here. The technology mixes processed coffee grounds and recycled polymer before spinning the yarn. The incorporation of coffee grounds changes the properties of the yarn, resulting in improved performance. The micropores in the coffee fibre ensure UV reflection and odour control while promoting breathability and quick drying.

RECYCLED PET:
The polyester yarn in this product comes (in part) from PET bottles that have been collected, cleaned and processed into granulate.

GREEN SHAPE:
Products with VAUDE’s own label fulfil various manufacturer-specific requirements with regard to environmental and social factors, including, for example, material-efficient design, durability, recyclability and reparability. VAUDE checks the entire product life cycle when awarding this label. According to the manufacturer, all VAUDE articles with this label are PFC-free, are largely made from recycled or bio-based materials and also bear the GREEN BUTTON seal.
