The material’s high elasticity is achieved through a high percentage of elastane or through a special knitting / weaving technology. The elasticity of the material increases comfort, performance and freedom of movement.

Excellent UV protection so that you can fully enjoy cycling in the sun. UPF 50
UPF 50 means that less than 2% (< 1/50) of harmful UV rays can penetrate the fabric of your VAUDE gear or clothing. Since VAUDE products do not contain any chemical titanium dioxide, UV protection is achieved solely through the choice of fibres, weave and thickness of the material.

MASS BALANCE:

Using a mass balance method, VAUDE’s material is climate-friendly, high-performance and helps reduce waste caused by used tyres: VAUDE uses a technology that derives oil from plastics that are difficult to recycle and feeds it into the polyamide production system, using a certified mass balance process. The sustainable polyamide produced in this way is just as high-performance as conventional polyamide, but reduces CO² emissions during production by approx. 60%!
