ECONYL RECYCLING:
For this product, VAUDE uses some robust, lightweight and fast-drying polyamide yarn. The ECONYL yarn is made from used nylon fabric in an upcycling process. Waste products such as fishing nets, fabric scraps or carpeting are used for this.

GREEN SHAPE:
Products with VAUDE’s own label fulfil various manufacturer-specific requirements with regard to environmental and social factors, including, for example, material-efficient design, durability, recyclability and reparability. VAUDE checks the entire product life cycle when awarding this label. According to the manufacturer, all VAUDE articles with this label are PFC-free, are largely made from recycled or bio-based materials and also bear the GREEN BUTTON seal.

GRÜNER KNOPF (“GREEN BUTTON”):
The German textile seal GRÜNER KNOPF (“Green Button”) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. This seal also verifies corporate due diligence with regard to defined human rights and ecological criteria. The basis of the verification of theses standards is partly carried out via third-party, independent meta-labels. The publisher of the GREEN BUTTON seal is the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

RECYCLED PA:
For this product, VAUDE uses some robust, lightweight and fast-drying polyamide yarn. These are surplus materials and leftovers from textile production, which are collected, cleaned, processed and turned into yarn.

R-PAD:
The ”R” in the name stands for ”Road” and thus directly describes its ideal purpose: This pad is made for long road tours in a sporty riding position. Whether you’re training, racing or travelling by bike, the high-density construction of the seat pad absorbs pressure on sensitive areas and provides extra stability.
